While residing in Sweden, Kaori was mainly engaged in lighting design of exterior public spaces for clients from municipalities like City of Stockholm, but also worked with a broad range of projects, such as interior lighting and temporary light installations.
During the period at a lighting design firm in Tokyo she was engaged mainly in interior lighting design such as brand stores, high-end hotels, condominiums, restaurants and beauty salons in Japan and other East Asian countries.
